Dreya Weber Bio
Dreya is currently acting and choreographing a new adaptation of Dante's Divine Comedy for the NNT in Holland. She recently worked on Michael Jackson's This Is It concert, as aerial choreographer and consultant. Dreya created all of the aerials for P!NK's current record breaking Funhouse tour and Britney Spears current Circus tour. She recently choreographed and performed at the Neighborhood Ball for President Obama's Inauguration (ABC). Dreya created the aerials for Cher's new show Live at Caesar's Palace.
Past projects include: Madonna's Re-invention Tour Pink's 2004 - Try This tour, 2006 - I'm Not Dead tour, Pink's opened for Justin Timberlake's Future Sex Love tour. Christina Aguilera's Back To Basics tour, 50 Cent at the 2007 BET awards, 2006 Kids Choice awards. Cherís Living Proof tour, also as featured dancer and solo aerialist. Cher:Living Proof won a 2003 Emmy award. The live tour sold over 5 million tickets worldwide over the course of three years. Secret Talents Of The Stars (CBS). Network national Fruit Of The Loom commercial.
Dreya produced and starred in the independent feature film THE GYMNAST, which won 28 awards at festivals in the US and internationally, including the audience award for Best Feature at Santa Fe Intl. Film Festival, Cleveland Intl. Film Festival, Outfest, Frameline and many more,as well as the jury awards for Best Feature at Outfest, Newfest, Q Fest and more. Dreya toured the world as aerial choreographer, dancer, and aerialist with Cher's Living Proof Farewell Tour. The NBC TV broadcast of the tour won a 2003 Emmy award for Best Musical/Variety Special. Dreya choreographed synchronized aerial swings in Christina Aguilera's Back to Basics Tour, and an aerial trio for the song "Bedtime Stories" in MadonnaÌs Re-Invention Tour. She choreographed the aerials in Pink's current I'm Not Dead Tour and her 2005 Try This Tour, in which Pink performed a dynamic aerial sequence while singing "Get The Party Started". Dreya performed and choreographed a dynamic silks number for 50 Cent in the
2007 BET awards.
She also co-wrote, co-produced and appeared in Le Club Seduce, an interactive aerial burlesque musical comedy, which played to rave reviews and three sold out runs in Los Angeles.
Dreya was a founding member of aerial/dance company Anti-Gravity, and performed with them in industrials, sporting events, fashion shows, corporate events all over the world, and at the Medals Ceremony at the
2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. Dreya has directed, choreographed and performed aerials for many industrials, fashion shows, sporting and corporate events in the US and internationally. She has performed as an aerialist in support of Pink, Beyonce, Sheryl Crow, Aretha Franklin, Sting, Alanis Morrisette, Stevie Wonder, P-Diddy, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Macy Gray, Faith Hill and 50 Cent.
Dreya has collaborated with dance photographer Lois Greenfield and appears in her books, Breaking Bounds and Airborne, plus calendars and various international ad campaigns.
She has performed flying trapeze in the Moscow State Circus, Circus America, and the Royal Hanniford Circus. For nine years Dreya directed the flying trapeze program at the International Gymnastic Camp in Stroudsburg, PA.
